The Core Conversion is the optimised Gamevan Garage gaming van build, engineered over time to deliver a versatile and thoughtfully configured interior, maximising space, functionality and multi-use potential.

This design carefully integrates seating, console and interior zones for maximum versatility, and features our Side Activity Area design — a fully integrated sliding door section that extends the van interior to the outdoors, creating a practical multi-use space.

With the External Zone Upgrade, this area becomes an enhanced outdoor extension, ideal for VR setups, karaoke, additional players, spectators, refreshments or casual socialising, helping operators accommodate larger groups and increase the earning potential of each event or party booking.

Vehicle Preparation & Structure

​

The base vehicle is fully stripped out and thoroughly cleaned internally before construction begins. Walls and ceiling are fully insulated, with a structural ply floor installed throughout the load area.

Ply wall panels are fitted across the interior, forming the foundation for the finished wall system. The fixed layout construction includes the bulkhead, cabinetry and seating bases, all designed as part of the proven Gamevan Garage layout.

The sliding door structure is fully integrated into the interior layout, forming part of the Side Activity Area rather than being treated as a separate or secondary space.

Flooring & Trim

​

Heavy-duty Altro Walkway commercial HD vinyl flooring is installed throughout the main floor area,

including seat base facias and cabinet facia sections.

This flooring is selected for durability, grip and ease of cleaning, making it suitable for heavy professional use.

Floor colour is selected by the customer from available samples.

Wall & Ceiling Finish

​

Walls and ceiling are carpet-lined using high-quality EasyLiner automotive carpet to provide a durable, clean and professional finish.

The bulkhead is carpet-lined on both sides, including the cab-facing side. The underside of the over-cab storage area is fully finished so the view from the cab remains clean and fully trimmed.

Carpet colour is selected from available samples. Rear doors are finished in white plastic panelling, allowing for future use of advertising or branding graphics.

 

Storage & Cabinetry
 

Over-cab storage area for consoles or equipment. Bespoke near-side console cabinet with tambour doors, designed for durability and ease of access. Cabinet ventilation is incorporated to aid heat dissipation from consoles. Additional integrated storage is included within the fixed layout to maximise usable space.

 

Seating
 

Two Playseat Evolution ActiFit racing seats are positioned facing the bulkhead for racing gamers. Side bench seating is positioned opposite the screen wall, creating a balanced interior layout. A bespoke seat base runs the full length of the console cabinet and incorporates three hinged access lids for storage and electrical access. Double-sided cushions are supplied.

 

Electrical System
 

240V external hook-up with RCD protection. Power outlets provided within the console cabinet, with dedicated socket locations for screens and TVs. Additional sockets are available for steering wheel and pedal setups, along with extra charging outlets. All required console-to-screen cabling is supplied, with cabling concealed where possible for a clean finish.

 

Lighting
 

Integrated LED ceiling lighting is installed throughout the interior. LED strip lighting is incorporated within the roof recess design. The roof construction allows discreet cable routing while adding visual depth to the interior space.

 

Upholstery
 

Aries Collection faux leather vinyl by Spradling is used throughout. Double-sided cushions are supplied, with a choice of colours available from samples. Upholstery is finished in contract-grade commercial faux leather vinyl with a plain design for durability and ease of cleaning.

Gaming consoles are not included. Screens or TVs are not included. Internet or Wi-Fi equipment is not included. Optional upgrade packages are not included unless selected.
