Base Vehicle Specifications

BASE VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

All conversion packages are designed, engineered, and priced around a standard long-wheelbase panel van platform with a minimum load floor measurement of 4.3m. This approach ensures consistency in layout, material usage, build time, and overall build quality.

The Core and Core Plus packages are based on the following vehicles:

 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (LWB)

 Volkswagen Crafter (LWB)

 Iveco Daily (LWB)

These vehicles provide the internal dimensions, structural layout, and load capacity required for the standard conversion design.
By working from a known and consistent base vehicle, the build process can be accurately planned and priced, resulting in fixed packages with clear specifications and transparent costs.

WHY VEHICLE TYPE MATTERS

The conversion packages listed on this website are priced specifically for the vehicles noted above.
Alternative vehicle types — including Luton vans, box vans, or other non-standard bodies —
differ significantly in size, construction, and internal layout.  These differences directly affect:

Material quantities

 Upholstery requirements

 Electrical cable runs

 Structural framework

 Labour time

 Weight distribution and fixing methods

As a result, conversions carried out on alternative vehicle types cannot be priced using the standard Core or Core Plus packages.

This does not mean alternative vehicles cannot be converted — only that they require a bespoke quotation based on the specific vehicle and intended use.

BESPOKE VEHICLES & NON-STANDARD BUILDS

Conversions on non-standard vehicles are assessed on an individual basis. Where a customer wishes to use a different vehicle type,
a detailed discussion will take place to determine feasibility, specification, and cost.

Pricing for bespoke vehicles will reflect:

 Increased material usage

 Additional labour time

 Vehicle-specific challenges

 Custom upholstery or structural work

This ensures the finished conversion meets the same build quality and professional standard as the Core and Core Plus packages.

BESPOKE ADDITIONS/REQUESTS

While Core and Core Plus packages are fixed, proven builds, bespoke additions can be discussed where appropriate.

Any bespoke work is quoted and charged on an hourly labour rate plus materials, and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
This may include changes or additions that fall outside the standard package scope,
or builds carried out on vehicles other than those listed.

Bespoke work is intentionally limited to ensure build quality, reliability, and realistic lead times.
Not all requests will be suitable or accepted.

SUMMARY

The Core and Core Plus conversion packages are fixed, proven solutions designed around long-wheelbase Sprinter, Crafter, and Iveco Daily vans. This approach allows for accurate pricing, reliable delivery times, and a consistent, high-quality result.

Alternative vehicles are welcomed but require a bespoke quotation due to the variations involved.

If you are unsure whether your vehicle is suitable, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
